Our client is a large net lease REIT specializing in the acquisition of single-tenant properties and over $20 billion in AUM. The Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for safeguarding computer networks and systems against cyber threats.

Responsibilities

1. Design and implement security controls for networks, servers, storage, cloud, and virtualization platforms to protect against cybersecurity threats and exposed vectors.
2. Configure and maintain security settings within the Azure/Microsoft 365 tenant to align with firms’ requirements.
3. Configure and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection, and VPNs.
4. Support, manage, and implement third-party email security tools.
5. Execute and improve core functions of incident response including threat detection/prevention, incident response, security monitoring, digital forensics, and vulnerability management.
6. Support patch and vulnerability management program efforts.
7. Perform annual pen test and remediation efforts.
8. Research latest security threats, cybersecurity standards/frameworks, and vulnerabilities to assess the organizations threat landscape.
9. Assist in efforts to maintain compliance with SOX, NIST CSF, and other external/internal compliance requirements.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity or a related field.
2. 5-7 years of relevant cybersecurity operations, information systems customer support and/or engineering experience required.
3. Scripting and automation experience.
4. Full working knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite and administration.
5. Strong understanding of PowerShell Modules.
6. Strong knowledge of managing security infrastructure.
7. Full-stack knowledge of IT infrastructure.

Salary Range

$140,000-$160,000
