Our client is a large net lease REIT specializing in the acquisition of single-tenant properties and over $20 billion in AUM. The Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for safeguarding computer networks and systems against cyber threats.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls for networks, servers, storage, cloud, and virtualization platforms to protect against cybersecurity threats and exposed vectors.
- Configure and maintain security settings within the Azure/Microsoft 365 tenant to align with firms’ requirements.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection, and VPNs.
- Support, manage, and implement third-party email security tools.
- Execute and improve core functions of incident response including threat detection/prevention, incident response, security monitoring, digital forensics, and vulnerability management.
- Support patch and vulnerability management program efforts.
- Perform annual pen test and remediation efforts.
- Research latest security threats, cybersecurity standards/frameworks, and vulnerabilities to assess the organizations threat landscape.
- Assist in efforts to maintain compliance with SOX, NIST CSF, and other external/internal compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity or a related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant cybersecurity operations, information systems customer support and/or engineering experience required.
- Scripting and automation experience.
- Full working knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite and administration.
- Strong understanding of PowerShell Modules.
- Strong knowledge of managing security infrastructure.
- Full-stack knowledge of IT infrastructure.
Salary Range
$140,000-$160,000
