Job Description:
The Role
Are you interested in working in a fast paced, evolving organization? The DC Conversion Data Lead (CDL) is a member of the Implementation Team responsible for coordinating the transition of Defined Contribution Plans to Fidelity's DC Plan Services.
The documentation and coordination of conversion data from prior recordkeepers. Our CDL's work with the client to develop a Conversion Strategy which details how the data will be converted to Fidelity. We then coordinate the delivery of this data from the Prior Recordkeeper and review the package for completeness. The CDL follows up with Prior Recordkeepers until all expected data is received and all questions are resolved.
The CDL also coordinates the transfer of assets to Fidelity, reconciles the trust balances to participants’ account balances, identifies all variances, and works with the client to resolve differences.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
This position requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a combination of implementation and/or 401(k) operations. The individual should have a general understanding of the retirement market, client service, implementation processes, and a demonstrated ability in the duties and responsibilities mentioned above. A detailed understanding of Fidelity and its products and services is preferred.
Strong organizational and operational skills and the ability to work well with internal partners. The ability to anticipate potential problems and to plan for such events. Proven problem solving and client management abilities. Excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail.
This position is unlikely to require travel.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, problem identification skills.
Strong organizational/time management skills, auditing skills.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
The Team
As part of the Implementation Team, the CDL will participate in the discovery process with the Client, Prior Recordkeeper, and Prior Trustee to collect all data vital to complete the Implementation or Corporate Action Project. The CDL will act as the primary point of contact for the client on the following Implementation or Corporate Action project details: data conversion and asset transfer and reconciliation.
