We are currently seeking a Solutions/Services Line Sr. Specialist Advisor to join our team in Herndon, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

Description:

This position would require responsibility for the entire life-cycle management of a Solution or Service Line offering to capture market share and achieve P&L goals, using technical and industry experience to conceptualize new solutions/service offerings and to formulate Solution/Service Line market penetration strategies. The applicant would consider numerous factors such as intended demographic, competitor offerings, internal capabilities, and alignment with the current business model in the creation of new solutions with the intent to cause disruption in the competitive landscape through the introduction of innovative, new solutions. Works across functional areas such as Marketing, Sales, and Delivery to implement, market, and evolve the solution. They would analyze markets to determine opportunities while ensuring offerings are defined to maximize profitability. Evaluate and adjust strategies to respond to competition while working with development leaders in teams to ensure client needs and requirements are represented. The applicant would develop and maintain the Solution/Service Line roadmap, acting as the subject matter expert of Platform Services and utilizing their technical and industry experience to formulate service line roadmap strategies, establish market awareness, and integrate key stakeholders within the service during the key decision-making point of the sales cycle.

Duties:

  • Individuals are expert in their subject area and have working knowledge of related subject areas.
  • They lead large scale projects.
  • They may lead or guide others on cross-functional projects outside of their own department.
  • Manages solutions/service line offerings through their entire life cycle, and supports decisions regarding enhancements throughout the lifecycle.
  • Supports business case for enhancements or new offerings.
  • Leads requirements gathering and management; provides simple interpretation.
  • Leads preparation for external and internal product events.
  • Regularly serves as a pre-sales support specialist through the development of materials and by presenting simple solutions to prospective clients as a subject matter expert.
  • Independently develops solutions and strategies based on the analysis of client business goals, objectives, needs, and existing infrastructure and applies principles, concepts, and techniques in developing solutions and strategies.
  • Allocates work and mentors others.
  • Manages projects and program execution.
  • Develops innovative and creative output based on interpretation and analysis that improve business performance and contribute to corporate goals and strategic intent.
  • Adapts projects, programs, or methods based on client or business partner feedback.
  • Guides completion of major projects or client engagements.
  • Reviews evaluation metrics from multiple sources and ensures they are incorporated in future versions.
  • Provides thought leadership, guidance, and advice in own field.
  • Works across the organization to effectively obtain and allocate resources to complete programs and projects on time.
  • Provides client solutions for a large project or several small to medium size projects with limited complexity using standard methodology.
  • Manages critical projects, client engagements, or business processes.
  • In-depth understanding of NTT DATA’s goals, client requirements, and knowledge of competitor practices.
  • Responsible for supporting sales of $3M - 8M TCV annually.
  • Contributes to the preparation of multiple white papers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including demonstrated leadership experience and program/project management experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
