Wifi is the foundation of the modern home. Without it, nothing works. eero, an Amazon company, is the first company to deliver a whole home WiFi experience using mesh technology. We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to join the eero Finance team to help us extract meaning from large volumes of data to help us make the right business decisions. The successful candidate will be an expert with SQL, ETL, and Tableau and have exemplary communication skills.
As a BIE at eero, you will:
- Engage with the business and diversified customer groups to understand the needs and recommend business intelligence solutions.
- Partner with the Data engineering team to define the data elements and data structure that the team should leverage to enable analytical capabilities.
- Interface with business and finance customers, gathering requirements and delivering complete forecasting and reporting solutions.
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards and models to drive key business decisions.
- Be connected and influential within the Amazon analyst community.
- Understand and communicate machine learning and other statistical techniques used to forecast key business drivers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
