Who We Are:

Arootah is an early-stage Hedge Fund and Family Office Advisory and Executive/Leadership Coaching firm focused on driving peak performance for both the teams and individuals. Founded by Rich Bello, the co-founder and COO of Blue Ridge Capital, Rich’s aim is to leverage his experience working with top Hedge Fund Executives to achieve peak performance.

Arootah services include:

  1. Providing expert advisors in key operational areas to emerging/established Investment firms
  2. Coaching direct-to-consumer (executive, life, health, and career coaching)
  3. Advising clients with Capital Introduction and Raising for Emerging Managers
  4. Investing in a portfolio of public and private companies that make a positive impact
  5. Building SaaS applications for both enterprise and consumer use
  6. Providing Talent Acquisition and Development services to the financial industry

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top talent.
  • Maintain and optimize Lever (ATS) , ensuring accurate data tracking, pipeline management, and reporting.
  • Develop best practices for candidate evaluation, ensuring a structured and efficient hiring process.
  • Manage candidate communication, scheduling, and interview coordination to provide a seamless experience.
  • Track key hiring metrics and provide leadership with regular updates and insights.
  • Oversee Arootah’s Advisory Database , ensuring consultant profiles are accurate and up to date.
  • Match advisors and consultants to client projects based on expertise, availability, and client needs.
  • Source and onboard new advisors to expand Arootah’s network of industry experts.
  • Work with the Advisory team to assess consultant availability and align resources with client demand.
  • Partner with the Advisory Sales team to provide insights on available talent for client engagements.
  • Participate in client calls to explain Arootah’s staffing and hiring processes.
  • Assist in developing sales materials related to hiring, staffing, and advisory services.
  • Provide market intelligence on hiring trends to enhance Arootah’s talent offerings.
  • Continuously optimize recruitment and staffing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify and implement new sourcing strategies and tools to attract top talent.
  • Maintain compliance and accuracy in all hiring and advisory staffing records.
  • Stay updated on industry hiring trends and apply relevant strategies to strengthen Arootah’s talent operations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or staffing within alternative investments (hedge funds, private equity, or financial services).
  • Strong understanding of industry roles, hiring challenges, and market trends in the alternative investment space.
  • Experience managing an advisory or consultant database , matching talent to client needs.
  • Proficiency in Lever (ATS) or similar applicant tracking systems, with a data-driven approach to recruitment.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills , with the ability to engage both candidates and clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field; SHRM-CP, PHR, or AIRS Certified Recruiter preferred.
  • Ability to support business development efforts , providing hiring insights and staffing solutions for client engagements.

Salary: $160,000 - $190,000 a year

  • The estimated base salary for this role is $160,000 – $190,000 with additional incentives including bonus and equity
