Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack Drupal Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in developing and maintaining our cutting-edge e-commerce platforms, ensuring high performance and scalability to meet the evolving needs of our customers. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in Drupal development, with a strong focus on e-commerce solutions and building high-performing systems at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain a robust Drupal-based e-commerce platform that powers our core business operations
• Optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability to handle increasing traffic and transaction volumes
• Implement custom modules and integrate third-party services to enhance functionality and user experience
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, sales, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions
• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and technical infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Drupal developments, e-commerce trends, and emerging technologies
• Participate in on-call rotations to support critical systems and occasional off-hours deployments

Skills Required:

• Extensive experience with Drupal (versions 6-10), including site building, configuration, and custom module development
• Strong PHP skills, with a focus on object-oriented programming and modern PHP practices
• Strong working knowledge of SQL, specifically MariaDB/MySQL, for efficient database design and optimization
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms for scalable infrastructure management
• Proficiency in version control using Git, including branching strategies and collaborative workflows
• Demonstrated ability to develop high-performing systems at scale, with a focus on e-commerce platforms
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices for creating inclusive web experiences
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues across the full stack
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of full stack Drupal development experience, with a proven track record of successful project deliveries
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining large-scale e-commerce platforms
• Strong understanding of web security principles and best practices
• Experience with performance optimization techniques for both front-end and back-end systems
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
