Role: Sr. ServiceNow Architect - Niche
Location: Atlanta, GA 30354 (Hybrid) LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience working with ITSM processes and the CMDB.
- 7 or more years in a Software Architecture capacity at enterprise scale.
- Experience with the architecture and design of enterprise software solutions, cloud solutions, applications, integrations, security and platform engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions in AWS.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop staff Software Engineers and developers with best practices and leadership.
- Experience defining and maintaining accountability to Architectural Design Patterns and serving as a technology domain’s escalation point.
- Highly proficient with leading Agile methodologies, DevOps principles, practices and tools in an enterprise technology environment.
- Expertise in Application Security principles and 12-factor application development principles.
- Embraces diverse people, thinking and styles.
- Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority.

- AWS Solutions Architect certificate(s):
- Solutions Architect
- Software Development Engineer
- Systems Administrator
- ServiceNow developer or engineer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing each phase of software application development to ensure a high level of quality, availability and resiliency for each assigned project.
- Identifying application and business requirements by communicating with technical teams and clients.
- Keeping abreast of and driving new technologies, making recommendations towards implementation and exploitation.
- Architect specializations will include App/Integration, DevSecOps, Site Reliability, Platform, Security.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Understands FinOps strategy and designs AWS solutions with an understanding of the ongoing costs for the solution.
- Design, implement, support and maintain enterprise solutions both on-prem and in AWS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define bounded contexts, develop a universal, and establish domain-driven patterns to ensure alignment between software solutions and business domains.
- Drive discussions around new and emerging capabilities and help determine the best way to modernize technologies to enable business solutions.
- Synthesize current state processes, operating models, and ways of working to define new, digitally oriented clarity on requirements.
- The role will work across a diverse stakeholder group, driving consensus, and creating a shared understanding of detailed requirements in conjunction with technical delivery.
- Coordinate multi-system solutions across the enterprise to clarify interdependencies so that systems appear seamless to the customer.
