Job Details
Job Duties: Program mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points. Set up mills and lathes. Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces. Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing operations. Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machine.
Qualifications: Prior experience setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Experience working with measurement tools, micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, etc. High school diploma or equivalent
