PAYROLL MANAGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the daily workflow of the department
- Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transaction
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and pay rate changes
- Maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transaction
- Prepare various payroll reports for use by management
- Respond to inquiries from management regarding payroll results and special reporting requests
- Other duties may be assigned
PAYROLL MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Experience with payroll using Ultimate Software
- Knowledge of Union and incentive pay
