Our client, a fortune 500 data and AI company is looking to identify a HR Coordinator I to join their team.


JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Coordinator (Contractor) to support our I-9 project. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal employment verification requirements by managing the completion, review, amendment, and reverification of Form I-9 documents within Workday.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Send email communications to employees regarding I-9 verification and reverification.
  • Create and send calendar invitations for I-9 verification appointments.
  • Conduct virtual I-9 verifications in compliance with federal regulations.
  • Perform I-9 reverifications for employees requiring updated work authorization documentation.
  • Follow up with unresponsive employees to ensure timely completion of I-9 requirements.
  • Locate and update I-9 documentation as needed for compliance purposes.
  • Amend Form I-9 in Workday to update employee records as necessary.
  • Escalate cases of unresponsive employees to management for further action.
  • Review completed I-9 documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor overall progress of the I-9 project and maintain an accurate tracking sheet.
  • Ensure all I-9 records are properly maintained and organized in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
