Summary:
The position involves repairing and maintaining plastic molding machinery and electro-mechanical equipment, including motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical devices. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, replacing defective parts, and ensuring equipment runs efficiently. The role requires strong PLC troubleshooting skills, electrical and mechanical repair expertise, and the ability to read schematics and diagrams. The position involves working 12-hour rotating shifts, occasional overtime, and physical tasks such as lifting and climbing.
Job Requirements:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams for diagnostics and repairs.
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed while performing equipment maintenance.
- Participate in an on-call program and be available for additional hours as needed.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED with one year of related experience or equivalent training.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, and PLC troubleshooting.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems efficiently.
- Preferred but not mandatory: Electrician’s License.
