The ability of our team to quickly respond to and resolve issues is a key part of our business. While Maintenance Techs may complete some projects independently, the role requires professionalism and a customer service mindset, as we work as a team, coordinate with vendors, and interact with residents in their homes. This position also requires operating a large variety of equipment and in a variety of weather conditions. Adherence to company policies regarding health and safety is a top priority. Daily travel between locations is common. Schedule: this is a full-time 40 hours/week position, approximately Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (hours may be slightly earlier or later depending on projects). After-Hours Rotation: This role requires handling occasional after-hours calls (evenings, weekends, and holidays). The rotation occurs roughly one week per month, and techs are expected to troubleshoot, coordinate, or directly handle emergency maintenance requests while on-call. Equipment: Maintenance Techs are expected to have their own reliable and insured vehicle, cell phone with a data plan, and should expect to bring some of their own tools, but most special equipment will be made accessible. Work Environment: Predominantly onsite work in the field at managed properties. Team meetings and office-based tasks happen at our Seattle office.
