Responsibilities:
PURPOSE:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and maintain a variety of mechanical/electrical equipment
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Troubleshoot and maintain a variety of mechanical/electrical equipment including air compressors, repair rollers, chains, bearings, install seals, sprockets, chillers, gearboxes, pumps, fans, valves, motors, extruders, dies, grinders, winders, bag machines and various other support equipment of this plant
- Proficient at using electrical testing equipment to troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.
- Starts up and shuts down equipment in line with company safety procedures for equipment under power and OSHA guidelines
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A technical degree is required or experience in lieu of education
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing experience
- Extrusion experience is a plus
