Job Description:
We are seeking a Prepared Foods Team Member to join our team. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold foods, and maintaining a clean and sanitary working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Cut, prepare, and serve hot and cold foods, including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salad, and pizza.
- Sample products to customers.
- Stock hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods from the kitchen, walk-in preparation, and refrigerators.
- Check in-stock product dates to ensure freshness and rotate when necessary.
- Bail and consolidate recyclables.
- Assist Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
- Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
- Assist with periodic inventory checks.
- Arrive on time, appropriately groomed, dressed, and ready to work; work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings.
- Provide excellent customer service, address customer needs in a timely and effective manner, and model suggestive selling techniques.
- Maximize sales potential through proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
- Follow established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- Lift 50 pounds.
- Stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
- Use hands for single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
- Perform bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching motions.
- Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
- Work in temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), above 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
- Work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
