Prepared Foods Team Member Responsibilities
  • Cut, prepare, and serve hot and cold foods, including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salads, and pizza.
  • Sample products to customers.
  • Stock hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods from the kitchen, walk-in preparation, and refrigerators.
  • Check product dates for freshness and rotate stock as needed.
  • Bale and consolidate recyclables.
  • Assist Team Leaders in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
  • Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
  • Assist with periodic inventory checks.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
  • Lift 50 pounds.
  • Stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday.
  • Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
  • Work requires bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
  • Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
  • Exposure to temperatures: <32°F (freezing), 32-40°F (refrigerators), >90°F.
  • Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
