Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CFO to join our executive leadership team. The CFO will be responsible for financial strategy, forecasting, reporting, capital management, and risk mitigation across all business lines. This leader will play a critical role in scaling operations, optimizing margins, and supporting growth initiatives — both organically and through potential acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the financial strategy for a multi-location heavy equipment rental and infrastructure services business.
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term modeling aligned with growth targets.
Manage capital allocation decisions, working capital, and liquidity needs for large equipment investments.
Drive pricing strategies, margin optimization, and cost controls across rental and service lines.
Monitor fleet asset utilization and depreciation cycles to inform equipment purchasing and disposal strategies.
Develop financial reporting processes to provide actionable insights to the CEO and Board of Directors.
Oversee banking relationships, debt structuring, and covenant compliance.
Manage tax strategy, insurance coverage, and enterprise risk management.
Lead the finance and accounting team, promoting continuous development and high performance.
Partner with operations leadership to align financial goals with operational execution.
Evaluate acquisition opportunities, perform due diligence, and integrate acquired entities.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or VP of Finance role.
Experience in capital-intensive industries such as construction services, heavy equipment rental, or industrial services.
Strong understanding of asset-heavy balance sheets, depreciation strategies, and fleet management financial models.
Proven track record of supporting scaling businesses, multi-location operations, and M&A activity.
Deep understanding of bank financing, capital structures, and private equity or family-office governance environments.
CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
