VP - Fund Due Diligence

Job Description: My client, a top global investment bank in New York, is looking to add a VP to their Fund Due Diligence team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough due diligence on investment funds before any loan issuance, ensuring compliance and monitoring fund performance post-investment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive background checks on investment funds.
2. Request and review financial statements and other relevant documents.
3. Meet with fund management teams to assess their operations and compliance.

Pre-Loan Assessment:

1. Evaluate the financial health and stability of funds before loan approval.
2. Ensure all documentation and compliance requirements are met.

Monitoring and Reporting:

1. Continuously monitor the performance of invested funds.
2. Identify and report any irregularities or compliance issues.
3. Produce detailed reports on fund performance and compliance status.
4. Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless information flow.
5. Provide insights and recommendations based on due diligence findings.

Compliance:

1. Ensure all due diligence activities adhere to regulatory and internal policies.
2. Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
4. Experience in fund due diligence or a related field is preferred.
