Senior Oracle HCM IS Applications Analyst

Job description:

The Senior ERP Application Analyst uses a wide application of principles, theories, and concepts related to Human Resource and Payroll ERP systems, to provide solutions to a diverse array of difficult problems. May lead medium projects and work teams and will work on a number of complex business applications. Analyzes and evaluates existing or proposed systems or modifies procedures to process data and solve problems. Review schedules, cost and documentation to ensure success of projects. Mentors and assists others in support of applications, projects and goals. Typically deals with users to determine appropriate requirements of complex systems.

In this role, an ideal candidate:

• Has experience working as an analyst in Human Resources Information Systems or Enterprise Business Applications.

• Has experience in supporting or working in Absence Management, Benefits and/or Retirement.

• Has working knowledge of Payroll processes.

• Has excellent verbal and written communication skills, working with everyone from business team members to technical team members.

• Has experience working with inbound and outbound integrations to third-party systems/vendors.

• Has report writing knowledge and/or experience.

• Has project management knowledge and/or experience.

• Is organized and is able to balance multiple projects and work responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, Engineering, Commerce, or a combination of education and relevant experience (at least 5 years of functional experience).

• 5 years Application design, implementation and/or maintenance of one or more of the following large scale Enterprise Resource Planning systems - Oracle Cloudsuite, Oracle EBS/EPM (Hyperion, etc.) Applications, PeopleSoft, Workday.

• 2 years demonstrated ability to successfully execute medium to complex projects; methodologies related to application management such as system deployment, support, and life cycle; experience in process improvement methodology, change management, operational improvement in complex systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Information Services, Business Administration, Accounting, Commerce, CPA, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, HCM.

• Certified in Production and Inventory Management, Certified Public Accountant, Human Resources Global Professional, or Project Management Professional upon hire.

• Oracle Certified Professional (for relevant FIN, SC, HCM applications) upon hire.

• 2 years experience with implementation or support of Oracle Cloud Suite (HCM, Payroll, Supply Chain and/or Finance) is highly desired.

• 2 years experience with large scale business transformation and ERP system implementation projects with scope spanning multiple regions and/or geographies and business process areas.
