About the Role

We’re looking for an Applied AI Engineer who’s passionate about turning big, unconventional ideas into production-level solutions. You’ll be directly involved in designing and deploying AI-driven systems that innovate within the semiconductor and electronics space—ultimately helping our customers move faster.

You will be responsible for integrating LLMs, NLP models, and retrieval algorithms into real-world applications. Your work will include data structuring and optimization, crafting new approaches to search and retrieval, and delivering AI products tailored to the unique challenges of the semiconductor and electronics sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end AI systems, combining LLMs, NLP models, and retrieval algorithms.
• Structure and optimize large datasets to train both open-source and closed-source models under various constraints.
• Develop novel search and retrieval algorithms suited for electronics and semiconductor tasks.
• Create, manage, and refine model evaluations and data (both synthetic and human-collected).
• Collaborate with customers to identify and address a broad range of domain-specific challenges.
• Train, fine-tune, and deploy LLMs and multimodal models; develop foundation models where applicable.
• Own project strategy and implementation, seeing ideas through to fully realized products.

Required Skill Sets:

• Proven software engineering skills.
• Strong machine learning background, with emphasis on large language model fine-tuning and deployment.
• Experience building, scaling, and maintaining production AI systems.
• Demonstrated track record of publications in top AI venues or high-profile competitions.
• Ability to implement research findings into robust, production-ready code.
• Familiarity with cutting-edge techniques, including advanced prompting and inference-time search.
• Prior experience at AI-focused companies, research labs, or similarly demanding environments.
