Shift: 2nd Shift- 3pm-11pm EST, M-F
Job Description:
The Electrical Engineering Technician is responsible for maintaining and supporting all electrical equipment within the facility, including electrical system components such as MCCs, inverters, motors, and control systems like PLCs, robotics, and other associated automation equipment. They will oversee advanced troubleshooting and equipment repairs, ensuring these activities contribute to safety, quality, and productivity by minimizing downtime.
In addition, they will develop proactive maintenance plans, including preventive and condition-based maintenance, and manage work orders that support process changes. The Reliability Electrician will also provide mentorship to other Reliability Electricians (II-IV) and oversee various work assignments related to manufacturing systems.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, etc. environment
- Background dealing with post-install responsibilities: troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment that’s already installed, provide preventative maintenance, etc.
- Hands-on PLC experience
- Ability to read blueprints/schematics
