ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for preparing and conducting the monthly EHS meetings and on-site compliance
training.
• Report EHS regulatory requirements applicable site to Federal and State applicable authorities
(OSHA, EPA, DOT, any other local government authority as required).
• Monitor the EHS regulatory requirements (Federal, State and Local) as applicable.
• Administer SDS management which includes working with internal sources as well as corporate
regulatory for new product SDS development and periodic reviews of existing documents.
• Facilitate and perform Risk Assessments in conjunction with department heads
• Consolidate the site Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), report to all site employees and to
Global Director, EHS monthly.
• Assist Global Director, EHS to monitor industry regulatory standards and best practices.
• Assist in the development of safety guidelines and communicate to the organization.
• Responsible for reviewing incidents, near misses and safety concerns, conducting investigations
and assisting with appropriate preventive/corrective actions.
• Communicating and sharing the incidents, near misses and safety concerns across the site as
lessons learned and opportunities for improvements.
• Escalate findings and recommendations from EHS audits and inspections (Corporate, Internal or
External) to the Site Director.
• Liaise with the site Department Heads to ensure EHS audits and inspections by regulatory
agencies are coordinated and deficiencies are minimized and corrected.
• Liaise with the site Department Heads to maintain all logs and documentation associated with
EHS permits and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with the site Department Heads to maintain and update as needed SOPs for all safe work
practices and equipment.
• Maintain filing systems regarding corporate EHS policy and programs.
• Facilitate the implementation and monitoring of contractors in conjunction with relevant
department heads.
• Ensure all employees are trained according to their hazard exposure groups and corporate and
site-specific training matrices.
• Ensure the site is aligned with the EHS Corporate guidelines and initiatives.
• Practice proactive safe working techniques and re-enforce the EHS policies, guidelines, and
procedures as set out by the Company
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Safety, or related field preferred.
• 3 or more years of relevant EHS experience required.
• Knowledge of chemical/industrial hygiene.
• Experience with common manufacturing equipment (reactors, dryers, etc.) is preferred.

• Strong problem solving and facilitation skills.
• Ability to quickly prioritize projects & workload.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced cross-functional team.
• Balance administrative and functional tasks
• Must be highly detail-oriented and organized, able to work both independently and as a team
player.
• Effectively communicate with peers and interdepartmental colleagues
• Proficiency with Microsoft suite
