Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Itasca, IL

Salary: $70,000-$84,000

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join our client's organization in the Itasca, IL area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain quality standards for processes, materials, and products.
• Oversee product testing and data collection on quality and reliability.
• Conduct internal and external audits.
• Monitor supplier performance.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues.
• Write and review standard operating procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Design and specify inspection and testing methods.
• Develop quality control policies and procedures.
• Manage production part approval processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Lead Auditor for ISO 1400 or IATF
• Experience in supplier quality and development.
• Experience with PPAP
• 5+ years of experience
