Job Description

CoWorx Staffing Services has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Supervisor working for our premier client in the Griffin, GA area. This is a direct hire opportunity on-site with a growing company.


Purpose of Job:

The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for providing support for quality initiatives in facility operations, supplier quality, and material technology.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Implement daily procedures and review/assess activities against internal control standards.
  2. Ensures the conformance to specifications of fabrications, purchased material, and assemblies in an assigned area.
  3. Interprets inspection policies and procedures and supervises the activities of personnel.
  4. Verifying that quality is being maintained throughout the assembly process.
  5. Start of shift Quality meetings.
  6. Team members are in place and checked in.
  7. Quality equipment in place.
  8. Expectation of the day are clearly communicated to the team at the start of the shift.
  9. Daily rounds taken in each functional area and stay in their area of responsibility.
  10. Communicate with Team Leads before leaving work area.
  11. End of shift 5S walk.
  12. Ensure Pass Down reports are communicated for the next shift.
  13. Conduct initial training and assessment of quality controllers.
  14. Other duties as assigned and qualified.

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in industry
