Responsibilities:
- Manage litigation files and eDiscovery
- Draft legal documents (motions, pleadings, discovery, etc)
- Track case progress from start to finish
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy
- Conduct legal research and gather information
- Assist with case management and trial preparation
Qualifications:
- Experience handling Labor & Employment cases in California-PAGA experience is a plus
- Strong technical skills in MS Office programs, case management software, and eDiscovery software
- High attention to detail and a deep understanding of legal procedures and local court rules
- Experience with drafting subpoenas and written discovery desired
- Strong trial prep experience-hands on trial experience is a plus
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to thrive independently and as part of a collaborative team
- ABA-approved paralegal certificate or an attestation
