Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Title and Survey Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to assist attorneys with commercial real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have significant knowledge of title insurance, surveys, and loan documents, as well as a strong ability to perform due diligence and manage transactional closings with excellent client service skills.

Essential Functions :

• Review and summarize title insurance commitments and exceptions, negotiate title insurance policies and endorsements.
• Analyze and review surveys, site plans, and legal descriptions.
• Conduct and summarize UCC, judgment, tax, and lien searches.
• Review zoning reports and perform due diligence for real estate transactions, including retrieving and analyzing public records.
• Assist in closing commercial real estate transactions, including preparing estoppel certificates and deeds.
• Create and maintain business entities.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys, clients, title companies, and other stakeholders.

Experience Requirements :

• Minimum of 4 years of experience managing titles and surveys for commercial real estate.

Skills and Qualifications :

• College degree, paralegal degree, certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in document management systems, Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new software tools.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
