The engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and performance testing of power transmission belting used in industrial and mobility applications. Responsibilities include:
- Product BOM management
- Creation of lab orders for product testing
- Analyzing product test results
- Organizing and monitoring builds of test materials
- Benchmarking of products in industry
- Experimentation to enhance product design
- Forensic analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master of Engineering (mechanical, chemical, materials science preferred)
- 5 years R&D engineering experience
- Product development experience
Preferred
- Experience with DFSS (Design for Six Sigma), Design of Experiments, FMEA, SPC, and Weibull
- Experience with CAD
