Position Overview:
As a Senior Internal Wholesaler, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the success of our client’s sales efforts. Partnering closely with a Regional Senior Vice President (External Wholesaler), you’ll work within a designated territory to promote the firm’s suite of products to financial intermediaries. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, sales-driven individual to build a rewarding career in financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an annual business plan in collaboration with your External Wholesaler partner, regularly reporting on progress and performance.
- Proactively identify and qualify leads through outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels.
- Schedule introductory meetings for your External Wholesaler partner and provide follow-up support as needed.
- Deliver engaging company and product presentations, both virtually and in person, to prospective clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of territory activities and sales pipelines in the firm’s CRM system.
- Assist in creating ad hoc reports and analyzing sales data to inform strategic decisions.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and sales meetings as required (less than 10% travel).
What We’re Looking For:
- A results-driven individual with 2-5 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
- Exceptional phone and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A self-starter with high energy, creativity, and a competitive drive to succeed.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and a willingness to learn about the financial services industry.
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- FINRA Series 7 and/or 22, and 63/66 licenses (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe).
- SIE certification (if applicable).
