Location: Frederick, Maryland

Job type: Permanent

Salary: $85,000 - 95,000 per year

Work hours: 8am to 4pm

Education: High School

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, modify, and optimize PLCs, HMIs, and automated systems to enhance efficiency.
• Perform electrical maintenance on power distribution systems up to 480V.
• Provide primary support for electrical and controls maintenance across manufacturing lines.
• Maintain and calibrate critical process control and environmental systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Review and update electrical schematics, system layouts, and detailed drawings.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED (Technical degree in Industrial Electrical, Controls, or Automation preferred).
• 4-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or automation.
• Proficiency in electrical distribution systems and wiring up to 480V.
• Experience with Siemens PLCs, AC Vector Drives, and Wonderware (preferred but not required).
• Must be able to read PLC code
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, SAP, and CMMS systems is a plus.
