BI Developer

We are seeking a BI Developer to design and develop data models that support enterprise analytical reporting and dashboard solutions. This role will collaborate closely with business analysts, users, and executives to gather and translate business requirements into BI solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in data warehousing and BI development, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Design, build, and deploy BI solutions.
• Analyze and optimize existing reports to enhance performance.
• Implement strategic improvements to business intelligence systems.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems and ensure data accuracy.
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
• Create interactive and visually impactful business reports.
• Design and automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Develop SSIS packages, including stored procedures, control flows, and data flows.
• Work with OLAP cubes and data warehouse models to support reporting.
• Identify trends and patterns in large datasets.
• Gather and document business requirements, use cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS.
• Knowledge of data warehouse design, dimensional modeling, and ETL.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• Proficiency in SQL 2019/2022.
• Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with PowerApps, DAX, and Python is a plus.
• Experience with predictive modeling and machine learning is a plus.
• Some overnight travel may be required.
