Technical Account Manager - Full-Stack Sales Professional – Biotech/Pharma Focus

Primary Responsibilities
Account Management
- Develop long-term partnerships with clients by understanding their research needs and challenges.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts to drive satisfaction, retention, and growth.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to ensure alignment with client goals.
Technical Selling & Support
- Communicate complex solutions and products to clients through tailored demonstrations.
- Assist clients with experimental design, data interpretation, and workflow optimization.
- Provide product training, troubleshooting, and on-site support for successful implementation.
Sales Execution
- Own the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
- Craft proposals, presentations, and pitches to ensure alignment with client needs.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to generate qualified leads.
Market Strategy
- Analyze trends and customer needs to refine sales strategies.
- Provide insights on market shifts, competitor activity, and emerging trends to stay ahead.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, bioengineering, biomedical engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years in technical sales, account management, or customer success in the biotech or pharma industry.
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of stem cell biology, tissue engineering, and drug discovery processes.
- Communication Skills: Strong written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
- Relationship Building: Proven ability to build client relationships and drive revenue.
- Travel: Willing to travel up to 50% for meetings, events, and conferences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in customer-facing scientific roles, including technical support and account management.
- Familiarity with iPSC-derived cell models and drug discovery workflows.
- Passion for innovation and startup culture with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
