Position Overview:
We are seeking an Associate Attorney with at least three years of experience in bankruptcy, workout, or related commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to manage complex cases and work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings, workouts, and related commercial litigation.
- Conduct legal research and analysis.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Negotiate and draft settlement agreements.
- Manage case files and client communications.
- Participate in business development activities.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing of the Louisiana Bar.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in bankruptcy, workout, or related commercial litigation.
- Strong academic record.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work fully onsite in New Orleans for the first year.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive base salary range of $200,000 to $260,000, commensurate with experience.
- Eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
