What You'll Do:
As our Automation Equipment Supervisor, you'll be the control systems expert. You will:
- Manage Control Systems: Maintain, troubleshoot, program, and optimize PLC-based machine controls and data acquisition, including PLC logic, HMI development, and network communications.
- Optimize Equipment: Monitor and analyze automated equipment performance, focusing on control system efficiency, and implement improvements to maximize uptime.
- Lead Technically: Be the go-to resource for automation controls, guiding and training maintenance technicians on advanced diagnostics and PLC/HMI troubleshooting.
- Collaborate and Integrate: Work with engineering and production to integrate new automation, upgrade systems, and ensure seamless communication between control platforms.
- Safety: Uphold the highest safety standards for automated equipment, ensuring regulatory compliance.
What You Bring:
- Experience: 5+ years of manufacturing experience (preferably consumer packaged goods) with a strong focus on automation controls. Expert-level knowledge of PLC programming (Rockwell Automation preferred), HMI development, and industrial networking is essential.
- Education: H.S. diploma; technical degree in automation/controls engineering is highly desired.
- Technical Mastery: Expertise in: PLC programming (Rockwell Automation), HMI development, industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, etc.), servo drives, VFDs, and vision systems.
- Troubleshooting Prowess: Proven ability to diagnose complex control system issues.
- Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of control system architecture and data analysis skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

- Compensation: $90,000 - $117,000 annually with bonuses
