Purchasing & Logistics Manager
Location: Must be within 60 miles of Vacaville, CA
Salary: $125K+ (flexible for the right candidate)

You are a strategic and hands-on Purchasing & Logistics Manager with expertise in sourcing goods, negotiating orders, and managing overseas purchasing & logistics. This role is critical to ensuring efficient processes, inventory management, and cost-effective purchasing strategies.
What you will be doing:
• Sourcing & Buying: Manage overseas ordering, negotiate pricing, and implement optimal procurement strategies.
• Product & Process Mastery: Develop deep knowledge of packaging products, supplier relationships, and purchasing workflows.
• Financial & Strategic Buying: Forecast budgets, purchasing needs, and inventory levels to optimize operations.
• Customs & Logistics Expertise: Oversee import logistics, customs regulations, and compliance to ensure seamless deliveries.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with customer service & operations teams to align purchasing decisions with company needs.
• Invoice & PO Matching: Ensure accuracy in financial transactions by reconciling purchase orders and invoices.
• On-Site Presence: Must be available for on-site work in Vacaville, CA, with some remote flexibility.
What you bring:
• Industry Experience: Preferred experience in the packaging industry (not general procurement).
• Buying Expertise: Strong negotiation, forecasting, and financial acumen to make strategic purchasing decisions.
• Logistics Knowledge: Experience managing customs, import regulations, and overseas supplier coordination.
• Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Strong understanding of financials, budgets, and purchasing strategies.
• Hands-On & Proactive: This is not just an administrative role—you must assess inventory, identify shortages, and actively order materials.
• Local Candidate: Must reside within 60 miles of Vacaville for an on-site presence.
