need to be able to look ahead at the proposed jobs out there and start analyzing where to go next – permits, municipalities

Responsibilities:

• Top Skills: - OSP Design - OSP Construction - OSP Planning - Contractor oversight Provides detailed design for feeder and distribution facilities to meet major fiber build projects.
• Conducts job costing activities.
• Requires understanding of outside plant build, installation, and maintenance.
• Monitors expenditures to ensure incurred costs are within authorized levels.
• Investigates and supplements cost overruns.
• May be responsible for the coordination of construction budget and project management activities.
• May be responsible for right of way functions. Evaluates multiple factors to develop creative practical solutions.
• Guided by project and work deadlines; sets own priorities. Uses discretion to complete assignments.

Pay Range: $40/Hr-$50/Hr

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
