LAND O' FROST IS HIRING IMMEDIATELY FOR 3rd SHIFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS
- SUNDAY-THURSDAY, 9:00PM - 5:30AM
- STARTING PAY IS $26.20/HOUR (PLUS $.80/HOUR SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL)
- MEDICAL, DENTAL, VISION, Rx, and VACATION AFTER 90 DAYS
- 401K AFTER 6 MONTHS
Responsibilities : - Meet daily with the Maintenance Manager/Supervisors to define priorities for the day.
- Assist in installation of production equipment and developing and corrective and preventive maintenance plan for the plant.
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
- Perform maintenance service request tasks as needed.
- Participate in project implementation and Process Improvement teams.
- Assist with bench-work repairs to help maintain spare parts inventory.
- Identify opportunities for decreasing variation and cost of operation in processes and make recommendations for improvement.
- Assist with emergency response situations in the plant.
- Comply with all plant safety and personnel policies.
- Responsible for adhering to all food safety, quality, and GMP procedures.
- Responsible for following all safety guidelines and wearing appropriate PPE when required.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications : - Minimum of 2 years mechanical maintenance experience required.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have electrical experience.
- Must have strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills.
- Must be able to work in confined areas with widely varying temperature conditions.
- Must have ability to follow instructions and work individually and as part of a team.
- Must be able to work weekend shifts.
- Must be able to work overtime as required, with or without notice, including being "on call".
Physical Requirements : - Constant walking, bending, stooping, and ladder climbing.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. as frequently as four or more times each day.
- Frequent pushing and pulling up to 75 lbs. using appropriate material handling devices.
