The Street Sweeper Driver is responsible for safely operating a heavy-duty sweeper truck to perform assigned duties on cleaning private streets, parking lots, and/or other locations. This position is responsible for thoroughly and effectively servicing the clients’ needs while complying with Company policies.nnDuties & ResponsibilitiesnnOperates sweeping vehicle that cleans streets and lots of trash, leaves and other.nnEnsures supplies and material handling equipment is secured prior to operating sweeper.nnPerforms pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle.nnEnsures vehicle is operating correctly while on the route and noti?es Route Supervisor/Dispatch/Maintenance of any concerns.nnUnderstands and practices operating best practices.nnImmediately reports any unsafe situations/service calls to Route Supervisor/Dispatch before attempting service.nnParticipates and cooperates in all scheduled training, brie?ngs, and safety meetings as required by the Company.nnWorks closely with Route Supervisors to improve route efficiencies and identify any on-road issues.nnPerforms all duties as scheduled by Route Supervisor or Dispatch, assisting other company drivers as directed.nnNoti?es Route Supervisor of any incidents/accidents/injures/property damage.nnProvides a positive professional customer attitude when dealing with customers.nnCompletes job tickets with information and leaves with customer when required.nnPerforms other tasks and duties as assigned, including training others.nnQualificationsnnValid Class C Driver's LicensennAcceptable driving recordnnAbility to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.nnDue to federal contract requirements, this position is limited to U.S. Persons (U.S. Citizens).
