Apex Systems is hiring for a Customer Service Representative role onsite with our client in San Diego, CA. The job description is below. If you are interested, please apply!


Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Ideal Start Date: January 27th

Location: San Diego, CA – onsite role

Hours: 8 am – 5 pm PST

Rate: $23/hour

Contract Duration: 9 months with the potential to extend


**An assessment will be required as a part of the submittal process. This will include: a computer literacy test.**


Job Description : This position will perform the billing, reconciliation, maintenance and customer service functions within the healthcare space.


Responsibilities:

  • Database maintenance and research to generate and distribute contracts and member information.
  • Identify, research and reconcile billing payments.
  • Set up and maintain member data.
  • Ensure bills are correct and mailed timely by interacting with benefit administrators to answer questions and explain Health Plan policy.


Preferences and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, minimum HS Diploma required.
  • 2 years’ experience in accounting, finance or related field preferred.
  • 1 years customer service experience over the phone required.
  • 6 months data entry experience required.
  • Proficiency in math, data entry, typing, spelling and grammar, for which tests are required.
