A leading equipment hire company is looking to hire a new Safety Coordinator to join its team in Brighton, CO . You will be responsible for overseeing safety performance across their different locations within the region. The Role:
- Manage and maintain the EHS program across all locations within your region.
- Conduct site EHS inspections, hazard assessments, accident reports and audits as necessary
- Oversee compliance with local, state, and federal environmental, health and safety regulations and keep abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that may impact the organization
- Deliver all necessary EHS training to all staff across all locations within the region
- Arrange weekly safety meetings with operational teams to ensure best practice and commitment to EHS goals
The Candidate:
- Circa. 1-3 years experience managing health and safety programs in a similar environment - heavy equipment, industrial setting etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental, Public Health or similar discipline (preferred)
- A self-starter, with strong communication skills who can engage with internal & external stakeholders, across all business levels
- Based in Brighton and happy to travel as required (circa 50%)
