IMC Companies is looking for a motivated and detail oriented individual to join our Channahon Customer Service team.
This IS NOT a remote or work from home position.
The candidate's main responsibilities will be to build and maintain relationships with IMC customers by providing exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate loves talking to people and proactively solving issues. Knowledge of intermodal operations in the region with trucking experience is preferred, but we are 100% prepared to train the right person.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers via phone, email and chat.
- Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about orders, pricing and availability.
- Work with internal departments to meet customer's needs.
- Data entry in various platforms.
Qualifications
- At least 1 - 3 years' of relevant work experience preferred.
- Excellent phone etiquette and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong Outlook and Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
