    Certification Details
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • NIH Stroke Certification
    Job Details
  • 3x12 or 4x12 RNs nights
  • Ratios: Avg 1:2
  • Years of experience REQ: 3 yrs
  • First-timers accepted: N
  • Weekend REQ: Every other
  • Must float to other pedi units as needed to only perform their scope of practice
  • Pending License accepted: Y
  • Guaranteed Hours: Y
  • Special Requirements: Experience in cardiac critical care, CRRT and ECMO certs preferred
  • Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care
  • Level I Trauma Center
  • Total Staffed Beds: 1,567
  • Charting: Epic
  • Parking Cost: $125/month
  • PICU Floating requirements- all travelers will be expected to float to the various units within the children’s hospital.
    Job Requirements
  • 3 years of experience required
  • PALS, BLS required
  • NIH Stroke Certification required for all RNs
  • Primary Source Verification required within 30 days of start
  • State License Verification required within 30 days of start
    Schedule Information
  • 3x12 or 4x12 shifts
  • Weekend requirement: Every other
  • Must float to other pedi units as needed
    Unit Specific Information
  • PICU Floating requirements- all travelers will be expected to float to the various units within the children’s hospital.
    Additional Details
  • AHA Certifications Required
  • RTO greater than 7 days requires approval
