Location: Massachusetts (Travel Required)
Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000 per year
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Massachusetts Medicaid Specialist to oversee Medicaid operations across multiple centers in Massachusetts. This individual will serve as the key liaison between our facility business office managers and the pre-admission referral management teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of MassHealth Long-Term Care applications and be committed to delivering exceptional service to residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Medicaid eligibility oversight and support for multiple facilities across Massachusetts.
  • Act as a liaison between the facility business office managers and the pre-admission referral management teams.
  • Complete and submit MassHealth Long-Term Care applications, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-through to approval.
  • Communicate regularly with MassHealth and the Board of Hearings to track updates, appeal hearings, and ensure compliance with all Medicaid-related requirements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of MassHealth Long-Term Care applications.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure compliance with Medicaid regulations and requirements.
  • Travel to different centers as needed to provide hands-on assistance and support.
  • Work flexible hours to meet the needs of residents and their families.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with MassHealth Long-Term Care applications is required .
  • Strong understanding of Medicaid regulations and processes in Massachusetts.
  • Must be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel within Massachusetts and work a flexible schedule.
  • Prior covid-19 vaccination
