Our client, a large CPG entity, is looking to bring on a Brand Specialist to support one of their thriving divisions!
This role offers 40 hours per week worth of work, and the general assignment will be 6 months as this position is covering a maternity leave.
We are looking for candidates with a strong marketing sense that come equipped with 1-2+ years of brand experience (preferably for CPG brand work.) This individual will also need to understand various consumer channels, and what it takes to strategize/create new products.
Position Overview:
- Lead consumer research by partnering with Insights team to conduct research on new product innovation, communication assets and product concepts
- Partner closely with Operations marketing team to ensure flawless execution in market
- Lead Purpose driven communication writing and development for creative agency brief and lead the development of final assets
- You will be tasked with leading the management of each product segment & relationships with co-brand partners
- Running and conducting market analysis to understand market trends and opportunities
About You:
- This position requires strong leadership skills as you will interact with cross-functional business partners, brand partners in multiple categories as well as agencies.
- Having a vision and strategic intent will be critical to deliver impactful communications and creative.
- You generate powerful insights.
- Our work starts with understanding what drives our consumers to purchase, and crafting plans based on those insights, including nuances based on the shopping occasion and retail channel.
- This position will require the ability to write up and validate consumer concepts for product innovations and communications.
