• Job Title: CTU/ Step Down RN (Cardiac Telemetry Unit) - Aspirus Wausau Hospital - Wausau, WI
• Description: Registered Nurse, Cardiac Progressive Care/Telemetry
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36
• Shift Requirements: 12 hours Nocs
• Float Requirements: Float to all inpatient units as needed
• On Call/Call Back Requirements: none
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend. Every other holiday

Job Requirements
• Required Certifications: WI RN License, BLS, ACLS
• Minimum Experience: 2 years IMC/PCU/Tele experience required
• Must have 1 year strong cardiac experience (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU)
• Candidates cannot move forward in the interview process without experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips
• At least ONE travel assignment must be completed
• 1 year recent EPIC charting experience required

Unit Specific Information
• 44 Bed Intermediate cardiac stepdown
• Fast paced, high patient turnover
• Post op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, Vascular, Arrhythmia, CHF, Post procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, Acute CP/MI, med/surg overflow i.e. detox, DKA, COPD exac, resp failure
• Patient ratio typically 1:4

• Radius Rule: Contractors must be outside a 50 mile radius of Aspirus Wausau
• Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates: Able to manage independently and complete tasks timely

• GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
