Join our dynamic team as a Senior Business Development Executive, where you will play a crucial role in cultivating new and potential client relationships within a defined territory for ABM. Your focus will be on Technical Solutions, specifically in mechanical and HVAC solutions. Collaborating closely with prospective clients, you will assess their current service programs to identify strengths and areas for improvement. You'll work with our skilled operators to craft and execute effective sales strategies tailored to individual or bundled solutions, ensuring that we deliver exceptional value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive cold calling, networking, and outreach to current clients, focusing on engaging decision makers in existing building ownership.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies to enhance client partnerships and expand service offerings.
  • Collaborate with businesses to create innovative and customized solutions that meet their unique needs.
  • Formulate risk-mitigation strategies to help clients budget for upcoming projects and reduce emergency service expenses.
  • Design and present pricing options for service and maintenance agreements to assist partners in future financial planning.
  • Benchmark partner facilities to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains compared to industry standards.
  • Build and nurture strong business relationships to foster trust, align with client goals, and deliver value-added solutions.
  • Utilize our analytical tools to create financial and lifecycle analyses that demonstrate value from the customer's perspective.
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals and executive-level presentations that lead to successful contract signings.
  • Engage in continuous sales and industry training, leveraging new knowledge to drive sales success.
  • Coordinate with operations and sales team members to ensure all customer needs are met efficiently.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all sales activities using Salesforce.com.
  • Complete special projects and additional duties as directed.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of expertise in facilities services, specifically in Mechanical/HVAC solution selling.

Additional Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging audiences at all organizational levels.
  • Strong leadership abilities in managing customer engagements and the entire sales cycle.
  • Proven track record of building lasting relationships with clients to sustain and grow business opportunities.
  • Collaboration skills to work effectively across departments and teams.
  • Highly organized, with a capability to manage multiple proposals and processes simultaneously.
  • Genuine motivation for personal and professional growth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms.
