Job Description
  • Coverage Needed:
    • As soon as credentialed - ongoing
    • Full Time / PRN
    • Typical general anesthesia non call day schedule: 7a 5p
    • Typical "on call" day schedule General:
      • In house (Nighthawk): 7p-7a
      • Beeper (weekday & weekend) 7p-7a
  • Clinical Information:
    • Need MDs that can sit their own cases/ supervision/medical direction
    • Percent supervision/medical direction vs. doing own cases: 100%
    • Average number of hours worked on a weekly basis: 45
    • Level 1 trauma center, Level III NICU, Children's hospital
    • Number of Beds: 660
    • Anesthesia Practice Overview:
      • ANES Staffing Model: 16 Generalist and 3 CV Anesthesiologist/54 Advance Practice Providers (CRNA/AA)
      • Training Programs: SRNAs and AA Student
      • Number/types of ORs staffed daily: 28 Sites + OB
      • Types of cases include: Cardiac, Ortho, Neuro. General, Urology, ENT, Bariatric, Vascular, Thoracic, OB/GYN, Peds and Trauma
      • OB - Number of monthly/annual deliveries: 3000+
    • Cardiac Cases/Annual volume: 355 Cardiac/170 TAVR/392 Watchman/1424 EP/44 TMVR
    • EMR: EPIC
    • 24000+ Annual Cases
  • Required:
    • DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
    • Current Flu Vaccine
    • Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
      • Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
    • Active GA License
    • Board Eligible or Board Certified
