Responsibilities

Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with the CFO and senior management team and the accounting team to bridge the gap from historical results to predicted performance, assess our operations and recommend solutions to operational problems. Responsibilities will include product pricing analysis, product cost analysis, profitability analysis for products, projects, product lines, retail operations, service operations, etc. Additionally, this position will incorporate a strategic component whereby management will solicit recommendations for operational, market strategy, pricing and cost improvements.

Job Duties

• Create reports, dashboards and KPIs to provide management and employees a better understanding of trends in the business
• Analyze business operations, processes and bottlenecks, make recommendations for improvements
• Complete data discovery, analysis and modeling
• Collaborate with managers on roadmap planning and workforce optimization
• Create and maintain accurate product cost data
• Prepare profitability analysis for products, projects and business segments
• Collect and analyze data for business expansion
• Prepare cost/benefit analysis for investments and asset purchases
• Working closely with the leadership team to formulate the business's medium to long term financial and strategic plan
• Work with department heads to build their annual budgets and forecasts
• Analyzing financial and operational results to better understand company performance
• Leverage BI tools to deliver meaningful insights into business performance
• Identify cost saving opportunities through more efficient business operations

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of relevant analytical experience, accounting/financial background a must
• Strong analytical skillset, including utilization of BI and reporting tools
• Strong quantitative analysis capabilities
• Able to solve complex problems utilizing critical thinking skills
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce and Power BI

Advanced Excel skills, including writing macros
