Patient ratio: 6:1
Does RN need to know how to read tele strips? Yes
Top diagnosis/procedures: Orthopedic and spine procedures and med/surg level patients
Common equipment used: walker, gait belt, ambulation aides
Does RN need to be able to titrate medication? No
Common medications given: med/surg level medications, pain medication, insulin
EPIC Charting
Scrub Color (are they provided): Galaxy Blue, not provided
Required Skills:
• IV insertion
• Blood draws
• PICC/Central Line management:
