Description Leidos is looking for a Software Developer/Systems Engineer to support an exciting DHS software development and System Support program. The ideal candidate will have AWS experience developing for the cloud, including complete secure cloud integrations, optimizing cloud connectivity, and managed cloud services. The Software Developer will be able to develop applications using Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, and Angular. The developer will work with the overall program team in the design and development of new applications as well as integrating new solutions into existing applications. The candidate will be able to analyze and solve complex application development needs to identify solutions to include potential new tools/technologies. The candidate should be proficient in application development, including troubleshooting and software upgrades. The Software Developer will also support hardware integration, middleware, and configurations required for production deployments. Experience working in a SecDevOps environment developing within an Agile environment using code delivery mechanisms, such as Maven, Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD. The Software Developer may support multiple Scrum teams as part of the mission integration efforts. The Systems Engineer will be able to analyze recurring problems and initiate solutions for preventing reoccurrence. The candidate will be able to support application monitoring performance and troubleshoot production issues.
**This position REQUIRES onsite support in Ashburn, VA, 2 times a week**Required Experience: - BS/BA degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience or a Masters' degree with a minimum of 6 years of previous relevant experience; or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree

- Familiarity with Win API, JSON messaging
- Strong knowledge of Angular
- Working knowledge of Visual Studio IDE
- Working knowledge of Springboot
- Familiarity with AWS Microservices
- Experience with web applications and relational databases (Oracle, PostgresSQL SQL Server).
- Experience in supporting 24x7x365 operations
- Knowledge of ticketing systems such as ServiceNow and JIRA
Desired Experience and Skills: - Active Top Secret or DHS Full-BI
- Solid experience with monitoring tools Dynatrace, Splunk, Kibana, and Grafana
- Configuration of hardware devices

Pay Range: Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
