Description The Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) program at Leidos currently has an opening for a Business Systems Analyst to support the development of our Salesforce application. The position will be a remote/telework role, with the potential for occasional travel as needed. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in creating tools and dashboards to support a U.S. Navy program.
Primary Responsibilities - Gather effective requirements from stakeholders to allow for efficient development.
- Validate requirements to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives, maintaining scope throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct meticulous quality assurance (QA) checks of each new release.
- Develop suitable acceptance criteria for development tasks to support testing.
- Maintain the program's development tracking tools (including Jira) and data dictionary as needed.
- Perform periodic reviews with stakeholders to ensure solutions remain active and effectively meet reporting, analysis, and automation needs, incorporating feedback and performing quality assurance on data solutions prior to release.
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Data Science, Software Engineering or related field. Relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree in other academic disciplines.
- 4-8 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with requirements gathering and user acceptance testing for software development projects.
- Experience developing user stories and breaking down requests into actions for developers.
- Understanding of Agile software development processes.
- Ability to research solutions, solve problems, and instruct users on best practices for supported tools.
- Effective communicator and organizer.
- Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications - Master's Degree in a relevant field with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience.
- Knowledge of how to use Jira.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate), Excel, EVMS tools, databases, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and PowerQuery.
- Active secret clearance.
- Salesforce development experience.
- Prior experience in a business systems analyst role supporting Department of Defense programs.

Pay Range: Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00
