Job Description

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks an Allergy and Immunology physician for our growing practice to provide inpatient and outpatient consultations for patients in need of medical attention pertaining to their asthma, allergies and immune system. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive excellent, quality care.

  • Physician will see both pediatric and adult patients

Opportunity Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate amongst a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care for patients with allergy and immunology diseases.
  • Prescribe and administer patient medications and perform and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory procedures.
  • Assist in the management and expansion of services of the Center for Allergy, Asthma and Immune Disorders. 
  • Develop, interpret and apply policies and procedures.
  • Participate in research, quality improvement initiatives and initiatives to develop programs to meet the needs of the team and patients in the community. 
  • Participate in the education of medical students, residents and fellows. 

Opportunity Requirements:

  • M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School
  • Fellowship Training in Allergy and Immunology
  • Have or have the ability to obtain a New Jersey Medical License 
  • Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine or Board Certified in Pediatrics and/or Allergy and Immunology
  • Valid DEA, CDS
